One late summer night in August 2002, me and my (back then) boyfriend and some friends decided to go for a bbq by the Lake District, about 13km from my city, Opole.
I was 19 back then, I was in a relationship with an older boyfriend who, of course, my father disapproved.
We finished the bbq and it was time to go back.
I wanted to practice driving and my boyfriend allowed me to drive back so I could practice.
It was about 1 am, and we had 2 friends in the back seat with us.
Other friends went with their own cars behind us.
I was driving about 50-60km/h and there was a 90 degrees turn to the left, with a bridge with a concrete balustrade over the small river.
My boyfriend shouted suddenly, that I’m driving too fast, and pulled the hand break…
I lost control over the car started to spin 360…
😨I was terrified and didn’t know what just happened and I thought we are going to die and I will be responsible😱
And I remember it like it was yesterday 😏 …that moment we hit the barrier of that bridge!
We crashed!

The whole piece of the concrete fell into the river and the car stopped on the small concrete block.
The airbags exploded… 💥
We saw the smoke coming out from the engine and shouted to get out of the car.. 🚙 💨
😖Everyone did, but me, as I couldn’t open my seat belt, and when I did… I couldn’t open my driver’s door as a road sign pole was blocking them.
I don’t how did I get out but I did.
😳Luckily there were no other cars coming as they would have hit us.
My (now ex) boyfriend shouted at me 🤬
“What have you done? …you crashed my and my mom’s car”🤬
One of the friends had a cut on her head and a hurting neck (which turned out to be a dislocated disc)
Some people started to come out on the street to see what has happened, someone called the police.
This was the first time I was dealing with the police, and of course, they checked me and ask what has happened.
I was in shock. 😨😱
My boyfriend had only the basic obligatory insurance and brought the car from Germany with some tax clauses that he couldn’t sell it for 2 years.
…it was the worst and the best thing that could have happened to me. ✅⚠️
Luckily no one was seriously hurt.🙏🏻
Don’t even ask how my dad reacted 🙄
when he came with my terrified mom to pick me up from the hospital where we were all taken and checked up.
But I believe now, that it was the universe giving me a ticket and a push to a better life.🎫🤩
It was an opportunity to escape from an abusive home. 😏🏘️

I didn’t realise it back then when I was a kid, and I thought it was normal, but my father was abusive mentally and physically.😖
My mom had no say, had no opinion, and that made me feel sorry for her and pity her but also lose respect for her, unfortunately. 😏
I love her and I don’t know how to help her, but it’s hard seeing her trapped and brainwashed by my father. 😒
But you can’t help a person who doesn’t want to be helped.😔
I know she did what she could and what she knew and now she chooses what brings her peace, which is acceptance.
❌I didn’t learn how to manage money, and I certainly was never encouraged to be whoever I want to be.
My father told me I will never finish studies.😒
My mom was always manipulating my feelings to always agree and never question my dad.😏
I have been falling asleep hearing shouting and abuse and anger and cries. 😖
In a way, I managed to not give up and stand up for myself, and not let anyone step over me.
But I was scared.🥺
Sometimes my dad was in some sort of angry rage and I had to be obedient.🥺😰
I did not experience or remember any warmth and true love from my father.😏
I know for many years he was working abroad to provide for the family and of course, I am grateful for it, but when he came back, he started working for himself from home, and home stopped being home.
It was his office.😏
🙄Me and my sister were told off when we didn’t pick up the doorbell or the phone when it was ringing too long.
😒I was being sent to bed super early without dinner because I didn’t empty the dishwasher.
😒I didn’t have any pocket money and I started to work when I was 15
😔If I got some new clothes once per year I could only wear them on Sunday 🙄 “for the church”
😒I was not popular in school and sometimes kids did pick on me or make silly pranks.
😏So I barely ever had friends.
In high school, I had a few girls who I hand aground with and with one I’m still friends with till today 🥰😍 we both make an effort to stay in touch and make time to see each other when I’m visiting Poland.
🤷🏻♀️I never had professional help.😔
🙏🏻The accident was a wake-up call and the reason I left my country when I was 19 after 1st year of studies and went to the UK to Jersey.
I worked in Big Vern’s Dinner for 1.5 years.

❌I spoke 0 English!
❌I had no money and my cousin helped me to get a job and borrowed me money for a flight ticket.
There were no cheap airlines back then. 😏
I lived in Jersey for 1.5 years and worked as a waitress 😏 for 60-70h per week
I have done my skydive jump over there…
something I would never even imagine would be possible in my life back in Poland

..and after I decided to go back to Poland but I got a visa to Australia 🇦🇺😍 and went to fulfill my biggest dream and traveled for 3 months.

It felt back then like traveling to the moon! 🌙
Best experience of my life. 🤩
I couldn’t extend my visa and went back to Poland broke.😕
I had an amazing friend who allowed me to stay with him for a month!
And supported me.🙏🏻
The moment I went back to my country I asked myself:
“What the heck am I doing here”?🙄🤷🏻♀️
So, I went back to Jersey, another friend lend me the money for the ticket…
I managed to get a job in a pub where I worked before I left.
I cut myself off from Polish people and friends to force myself to learn English.
After a few months, I found a new job and started to “climb the career ladder” in gastronomy.🙂
I worked as a cafe supervisor and then a few months after I changed again and worked as an assistant manager in a pub. 😊
I earned decent money, I was partying heavily,
I played semi-professional volleyball, and went to Rhodos to represent Jersey in island games in 2007!🥳🤩😎

🤨I met a guy in Jersey who was going to start studies in Wales in 2006, and I decided I was going to push myself and save up and move with him and go back to university.🧐
And so I did.😎
I got accepted to the interior architecture program, I saved up, and in September 2007 I moved and started university again. 😎
After 2 years and some problems with the program director, who forced me to change my course 🙄I started from scratch a new course – architectural design and technology.
🙏🏻Thanks to Jersey connections and meeting an architect while hitchhiking! I have landed myself some work experience over the summer.
🙏🏻Thanks to this experience I met a person who helped me get work experience the following summer in Cardiff in a global engineering company.
I was proud of myself. 🤩😊
That 2 weeks placement was extended to 2 months and then to casual working hours and then a full-time job for 2 years.
😎🙏🏻I graduated in 2013 and my final year lasted 2 years due to that work commitment.

It was hard!
🙄And 2 months before I was meant to finish I had a shoulder operation which forced me to take 6 weeks of work and studies.
In order to finish my studies I was working 9-5.30 and then worked on my final project 6 pm till sometimes 6-7 am with 2h sleep and then back to work. 🙄😖
I had no more time off so you can imagine how I functioned on 2 h of sleep.🤯😓
But I finished! 🤩
I was not happy with the result but glad it was over. 🙄
This was the moment I also found out about life as a digital nomad and a “Rich Dad Poor Dad” book. 😎🤩
The moment I graduated I had a week off, and instead of resting or going on holidays I went on my first business startup workshop. 😂😎
As I didn’t rest and caught bad flu, I was I’ll for over a month! With no more sick leave left!
I kept attending a lot of business startup workshops and entered a marketing competition, which was organised by my university entrepreneurship office. Together with other team members we won the 1st place! The task was to create a marketing campaign for a local radio station promoting their app.
We were invited to see how the radio station works and meet the morning presenters.

☺️ At The same time I also started my first MLM business.
There was no more career progression for me there in the engineering company after nearly 2 years, and I was burned out of doing monkey job tasks and lack of challenges, so I changed my job to an architectural office environment.
After 8 months I was “let go off” and found a new job, but was also offered to start a business with a lawyer and property developer – a property investors fund.

I just came back from a 4-day “Power to Achieve” event in London run by Andy Harrington and that gave me to push to take a leap of faith and reject the job I was about to start in 4 days and go into the business partnership.
I was on a road, meeting agents, and builders, learning how to value to property refurb and take property photos at different stage of the development
I learned the business of property flips 😎🤩 and it was the best life and business training I could attend.
I also was promoting this business all over the UK at Property Investors Networking Meetings, by doing 20sec pitches, sometimes in front of 150 people!

Although the business didn’t work out and I ended up being screwed and was left with nothing, I decided I won’t give up.🤨😎
I did a leafleting job and eventually had to find a new architectural job, 🙄 which again was a boring monkey job, which made me depressed and I ended up on sick leave.
After 1 month of work after that leave, they fired me.
Again!
I got another job as a contractor!🙄
I have been changing (aka being fired) jobs for 5 years while trying to build a business.
It was exhausting.
In 2016 I got a property refurbishment management project as the second big job for my business, which was meant to last 5-6 weeks and didn’t finish in 5 months! 😖😓
I have discovered what is a panic attack because of it.🥺😱😖
When I luckily got out of this mess, I took 2 month break to decide what I want to do with my business. 🧐
That helped me to see things in a different light.
I hated it.
😊So in March 2017 I started my online journey with affiliate marketing and discovered my real passion. Marketing.
I ended up needing to change career while still building a business and started working in sales as a kitchen designer.
This cut my salary in half which forced me to work on my days off to keep up with my expenses and credit cards that I used to pay for lots of business courses and personal development. 🙄
I worked 7 days per week, around 60h per week for nearly 9 months!
That job, after nearly a year, made me question my own worth, and I (again) nearly got a depression.😖🥺
Nothing was making me happy, and I could just start crying out of the blue.
But, thanks to the support of my current partner, personal development, and meditations I managed to pull myself back, and quit that job, and went back to university to get masters in digital marketing.🤨
🙄And so I started uni at the age of 35 in 2019.
Again!
Besides problems with the university due to the sudden change of program director and lack of qualified staff to deliver some lectures, ..well pandemic happened!
2020
However, since the beginning of 2020,
✅I managed to get a paid internship which turn into 8 months freelance gig with @QuickSmartIT
✅I started my coaching business,
✅I got another internship during Easter with a housing association (Newydd Housing Assosiation)
✅ I managed to complete my studies, despite the lack of support from the university, and the pandemic, and fight with the system as a student rep demanding them to take responsibility for the lack of competencies and unfulfilled promises from the program.
2021
✅In 2021 I did a virtual UPW event with Tony Robbins and

✅ In April I got a job in a marketing agency, as a junior marketing executive, in which I worked for 6 months.
I agreed to a junior position and salary to prove myself and created content for 15 clients!
I felt exploited and not appreciated. 😏
I didn’t get any objectives set, yet I was told my probation period will be extended I was not meeting their expectations.😤🤬
💚🧡In May a friend of mine hired me on a freelance base and I have been working with her ever since, creating content, managing social media, creating funnels and email marketing, writing blogs, and so on.
😎I quit the job in September and offered to help out finish my commitments to clients as a contractor.
They were honestly surprised I quit but hired me as a contractor for a month✅
✅I took off with my own business and not looking back!
2022
✅In the beginning of 2022 during the pandemic we moved to Spain and started our new life!
We started to travel

I got another freelance gig
In April/May I started Digital Business Garage
I was accepted into a startup academy and in July 2022 I was pitching my idea to a panel at Tramshed Tech in Cardiff in front of around 60-70 people

✅In January 2023 we got engaged!

And that is just a fraction of my story…
❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️
⚠️You can change your life if you set your mind to it! ‼️
⚠️You create your reality and you choose how the past shapes you.‼️
We all have something from the past that haunts us and something that creates traumas or limiting beliefs.
‼️I know you have responsibilities and it is not easy.
‼️But there is no shortcut to “success” but I know that each of you is more than capable of it with the right tools and support.
🧐 success can mean completely different things to every single person.
🤦🏻♀️I was attracted to luxury and fancy cars, villas, designer clothes, and fancy holidays.
😎Now success means peace of mind
✅Freedom to set my work schedule
✅Take a break when I feel I need one or a fancy one
✅No need to accept a lack of respect from anyone!
✅Taking holidays when I need them!
✅Living by the sea
✅Doing what I love and getting paid for it!
Over the years of practicing personal development, I have learned that there are 2 ways to achieve success!
And we have a choice of what we want to pay to get there!
🙄🤷🏻♀️If you can sell thin air …and say what some “gurus” tell you and you follow their scripts and tell people what they want to hear, you may get to your “dream” faster.
😍My subconsciousness guided me to stay true to my values and only do what was right not what was easy.
☺️I came far and I love my journey.
😍It was and is not easy but it was worth it!
What’s next?🤷🏻♀️
What awaits you?🤷🏻♀️
There are people with more dramatic stories and some with less drama.
Don’t compare yourself to anyone ever!
As you are unique! And so is your path…
But don’t expect anyone to chase you to get you out of your misery if you don’t make the first move and reach out and seek guidance!
Let’s work it out together!😍
